“We stayed a few days at Leopards Lair near Estcourt and had a wonderful time! There was plenty to keep the children busy all day and us parents had time to relax. The accommodation is well decorated and spacious, and was stocked with all we needed. The outside entertainment/braai is the perfect place to spend the evening. Michelle and Bernard Buys are wonderful hosts, they made us feel very welcome and at home. We will definitely be going back again! “

As the first visitors for a longtime due to the dreadful Covid, and as the oldest for a long time (mid-seventies) we received a wonderful welcome from Michelle and her family at Leopard’s Lair.
We came from Antbear Lodge, on a path not trodden for at least six months – long grass which was always trying to trip us up. It certainly succeeded in making our feet soaked. Michelle’s tumble drier and the roaring log fire for us warm as toast very quickly.
Thank you for a warm welcome – including the electric blankets – and a lovely hot dinner.
Here’s to many, many satisfied visitors to Leopard’s Lair this year, and the years to come.

Thank you for your hospitality, the food was amazing and your attention to our specific needs was amazing. The lodge is wonderful and the fireplace was exactly what was needed to create a wonderful atmosphere and dry our soaking wet clothes. The conversation was lovely and we had great fun!
